Time flies!

Time flies...Just realised I haven been in Grand Canyon for 5 weeks, another 5 more weeks to go to our extended trip around USA. Looking back to the first few days I arrived in Grand Canyon, I was actually counting how many days more I have to be here...Now I dun have to anymore...Life here is becoming more and more interesting...I enjoy every single moment here! 5 weeks are in fact very short period of time. I'm sure we'll be sad to leave this place.

Yesterday was one of my best working days. Maybe it was because of the person whom u worked with. There were only 3 ppl on thel line yesterday, namely Tim(the manager I hate the most), Lina and I. The management seems to trust us a lot man...hmmm maybe not so much of trust...maybe they just wanna stretch us to the max. They only assigned Lina and I to prepare ALL the food for that night...Normally we hav at least 3 ppl...Tim din cook at all last night..he just took in orders. As I said, it's not always good to be efficient. Efficient means more job and you might be taken advantge of.

I dun like working with Tim. I performed badly when I was with him. I kept forgetting orders. Too bad..I dun really care cos I dun like him!!! Tim left after 2 hours and Graham, the F&B manager (Tim's superior), took over. Working with him was so much different from working with Tim man. I was like turning into another person....(like gui3 shang4 shen1). I was energetic, fast, accurate...in short I was superb when working with Graham...haha! He did nothing but nodding his head. I could tell that he was very impressed by our performance. He even left the line to both of us for some time so Lina and I had to take in orders as well as preparing the food...I have never seen only 2 ppl operating the line before man! But it was fun and challenging! But then again...Pls dun stretch us!

Looking forward to working with Graham or Jesse...BUT NEVER TIM!!!

Anyway I have 2 days off tomo...YEAH! I must really enjoy these days to the max cos I have been working so hard for the past week! I deserve it!

Still planning the volleyball tournament...already asked the Deli kakis to request for same day off so we can do things together. April keeps saying I should be working in Deli with them and I really wish I could...though I'm earning more in the kitchen. So no complaints!
